Job Description
- The candidate must calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
- The candidate must calculate fixed assets and depreciation accurately.
- The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- The candidate must maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- The candidate must post journal entries.
- The candidate must prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- The candidate must prepare trial balances of books.
- The candidate must reconcile accounts.
- The candidate must prepare financial statements and reports.
- The candidate must manage accounts payable.
- The candidate must ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
