Youth services worker

(ENFAM-QUÉBEC) in Saint-Laurent, QC is seeking a self-motivated Youth services worker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Term or contractPart time opportunity. Shift timings include: Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform administrative and office activities.
• The candidate must appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services.
• The candidate must implement life skills workshops.
• The candidate must refer offenders to community and social services programs.
• The candidate must conduct seminars and discussion groups.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.

• The candidate must work in a community centre to organize programs, manage facilities, and engage with community members.
