Bath Blueberry Farms in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a self-motivated Worker, farm. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
• The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.
• The candidate must supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
• The candidate must detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
