Job Description

The candidate must inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
The candidate must measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding.
The candidate must prepare flooring plans and scheduling.
The candidate must measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors.
The candidate must measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings.
The candidate must prepare and install hardwood floors.
The candidate must inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.
The candidate must conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations.
The candidate must prepare floors for installations.
The candidate must remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
