JSI Store Fixtures Canada Inc. is situated in Collingwood, ON and is hiring a Wood-carving machine operator to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Evening, Night, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must set up, program, and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines.
• The candidate must operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
• The candidate must operate preset special-purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products.
• The candidate must read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
