Columbus Meat Market Ltd in Vancouver, BC is seeking a self-motivated Wholesale buyer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials.
• The candidate must establish and maintain contact with suppliers.
• The candidate must maintain adequate stock levels.
• The candidate must negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
• The candidate must oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets.
• The candidate must review organizational requirements to determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
• The candidate must select and purchase merchandise for resale.
