Builden Network and Construction Solutions Ltd. is situated in Surrey, BC and is hiring a Welder to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• The candidate must fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• The candidate must determine weldability of materials.
• The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
• The candidate must climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
