JPR INDUSTRIES INC. is situated in Shaughnessy, AB and is hiring a Welder to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
• The candidate must utilize hand and power tools.
• The candidate must operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• The candidate must ensure safety procedures are followed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently.
