Now hiring: Welder helper at Maple Leaf Railing Ltd. in Surrey, BC. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Morning shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products.
• The candidate must transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
• The candidate must immerse metal products in cleaning solutions.
• The candidate must assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
• The candidate must grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must load and unload vehicles.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
