Welder

J&J Freshlook Homes Ltd in Abbotsford, BC is inviting applications for the position of Welder. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• The candidate must operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• The candidate must determine weldability of materials.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.

• The candidate must be well-organized.
