Welder-fitter

Riley Sports in Woodstock, ON is seeking a self-motivated Welder-fitter. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Overtime required, Day, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• The candidate must operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air, AOC).
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
