centre de valorisation m. charette in Saint-Thomas, QC is seeking a self-motivated Welder. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• The candidate must operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• The candidate must fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• The candidate must operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air, AOC).
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must be flexible.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in the industrial area with facilities such as factories, plants, processing operations, and similar operations.
