BIICS is situated in Toronto, ON and is hiring a Web designer to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must confer with clients to identify requirements.
• The candidate must consult with clients to develop and document website requirements.
• The candidate must design and integrate website-related code.
• The candidate must determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance.
• The candidate must develop website architecture.
• The candidate must document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
• The candidate must write, modify, and test website-related code.
• The candidate must prepare mock-ups and storyboards.
• The candidate must design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions.
• The candidate must source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website.
• The candidate must assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
• The candidate must create and optimize content for websites using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software.
• The candidate must develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the impact of security breaches.
• The candidate must lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity.
• The candidate must resolve conflict situations.
• The candidate must perform usability testing.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
