TURKISH KEBAB HOUSE in Kanata, ON is inviting applications for the position of Waiter/waitress. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables.
• The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
• The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
• The candidate must advise on menu selections.
• The candidate must greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• The candidate must serve food and beverages.
• The candidate must supervise other servers and bussing staff.
• The candidate must take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
