Job Description
- The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
- The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
- The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
- The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- The candidate must greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- The candidate must serve food and beverages.
- The candidate must take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
- There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
