Job Description
- The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
- The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
- The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellersβ cheques, or room billings.
- The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
- The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- The candidate must advise on menu selections.
- The candidate must balance cash and record sales.
- The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- The candidate must describe and advise on wine selection.
- The candidate must supervise other servers and bussing staff.
- The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
