Cha Baa Thai Restaurant Ltd. in Beechville, NS is seeking a self-motivated Waiter/waitress - food and beverage services. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
• The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
• The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• The candidate must advise on menu selections.
• The candidate must balance cash and record sales.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must describe and advise on wine selection.
• The candidate must supervise other servers and bussing staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must load buspans and trays as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
