Vineyard worker

Arterra Wines Canada, Inc. in Oliver, BC is inviting applications for the position of Vineyard worker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Work schedule: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must harvest crops.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
