Vineyard worker

Benjamin Bridge Vineyards is situated in Forest Hill, NS and is hiring a Vineyard worker to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

• The candidate must be willing to walk for long periods of time.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must have their own transportation.
