Vice-president - business development

ASTEK Canada Inc. in Montréal, QC is seeking a self-motivated Vice-president - business development. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
• The candidate must authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
• The candidate must establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
• The candidate must represent the organization, or delegate representatives, in negotiations or other official functions.
• The candidate must select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must conduct staff recruitment and selection.
• The candidate must oversee project management activities to ensure objectives are met.
• The candidate must prepare bids.
• The candidate must prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.

• The candidate should work in the finance sector and be responsible for obtaining and handling any monies on behalf of the organization.

• The candidate should work in a manufacturing and industrial plant operating a large factory to produce goods efficiently and reliably.
