User support technician

Now hiring: User support technician at Shah Trading Company Ltd in Scarborough, ON. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must report on the performance of computer systems and networks.
• The candidate must respond to users experiencing difficulties with computers and related systems.
• The candidate must consult user guides, technical manuals, and other resources to research and implement solutions.
• The candidate must provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
• The candidate must supervise other technical support workers in the group.
• The candidate must set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• The candidate must perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
• The candidate must manage incidents.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
