Omega Formwork Inc. in Mount Uniacke, NS is inviting applications for the position of Tower crane operator. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Term or contractFull time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate cranes.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work on high-rise building construction sites.
