Beaudoin in Daveluyville, QC is inviting applications for the position of Upholsterer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Term or contractFull time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must lay out, cut, fabricate and install upholstery.
• The candidate must tack, glue or sew ornamental trim, braids or buttons.
• The candidate must fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment.
• The candidate must conduct quality control.
• The candidate must examine sketches, samples, and design specifications to determine the number, size, and shape of pattern parts and to assess the quantity of fabric required to produce a product.
• The candidate must mark, cut, and sew fabric.
• The candidate must read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a furniture manufacturing company to assemble, finish, and inspect furniture products.
