JMD Truck Trailer & Reefer Repair Ltd. is situated in Oakbank, MB and is hiring a Truck trailer mechanic to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• The candidate must inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate must estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
