Truck driver

Farquhar Dairies Ltd. ( North Bay, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Truck driver. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, , 02:00 to 12:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must pay and receive payments for goods.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
