Truck driver

4JS Logistic in Brampton, ON is inviting applications for the position of Truck driver. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform brake adjustments.
• The candidate must perform emergency roadside repairs.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
