Collection truck driver - public works

Excelone Staffing Services is situated in North York, ON and is hiring a Collection truck driver - public works to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Casual employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Day, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment.
• The candidate must operate various vehicles and equipment.
• The candidate must report any malfunctions to supervisors.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
