Varsteel Ltd. ( Prince George, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Truck driver. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must pay and receive payments for goods.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).
• The candidate must be able to pass a drug test.
• The candidate must be able to complete a medical exam.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
