Truck driver

Ron Braniff Trucking Ltd. in Cambridge, ON is inviting applications for the position of Truck driver. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
