Hilton Garden Inn Kitchener/Cambridge ( Cambridge, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Hotel night auditor. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Evening, Night, Weekend, On call.

Job Description

  • The candidate must register arriving guests and assign rooms.
  • The candidate must process group arrivals and departures.
  • The candidate must take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • The candidate must provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • The candidate must provide general information about points of interest in the area.
  • The candidate must exchange foreign currency.
  • The candidate must process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • The candidate must balance cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial documentation.
  • The candidate must maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • The candidate must follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • The candidate must perform clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • The candidate must answer telephone calls and relay messages accurately.
  • The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • The candidate must contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls.
  • The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be fluent in English.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

  • The candidate must work in the hospitality industry to provide excellent guest services, manage operations, and ensure a high-quality experience for clients and patrons.
  • The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
