Transportation logistics supervisor

Highland Van & Storage Ltd. ( Delta, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Transportation logistics supervisor. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop specific plans to prioritize.

• The candidate must oversee operational logistics of the organization.
• The candidate must plan and organize operational logistics of the organization.
• The candidate must coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• The candidate must prepare and submit reports.

• The candidate must arrange for maintenance and repair work.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.

• The candidate must arrange training for staff.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must coordinate, assign, and review work activities.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
