Transportation fleet manager

4-Way Traffic Control Ltd. in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of Transportation fleet manager. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must monitor departmental performance.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must plan for changes to schedules and policies.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must manage finances and budgets.
• The candidate must ensure transport compliance with regulations.
• The candidate must oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
