Transport refrigeration mechanic

Maan Reefer Repair is situated in Brampton, ON and is hiring a Transport refrigeration mechanic to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies.
• The candidate must maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks.
• The candidate must prepare tenders and quotations.
• The candidate must troubleshoot heating systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must handle, recover, and store refrigerants.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in an on-site customer service environment, such as an office or business location.
