Advanced Massage Therapy in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a self-motivated Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must diagnose patient illnesses and minor injuries such as allergies and muscle strains or sprains.
• The candidate must diagnose physiological disorders and injuries of patients.
• The candidate must treat patients by administering small doses of remedies derived from natural substances, in chemical or herbal form, or by recommending appropriate lifestyle changes.
• The candidate must treat diseases, physiological disorders, and injuries of patients.
• The candidate must advise patients on herbal treatments.
• The candidate must manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands, and feet.
• The candidate must provide alternative forms of health care to patients.
• The candidate must treat patients using acupuncture needles or stimulation techniques.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
