Tractor-trailer truck driver

GROUPE MOMAR 1983 INC ( Trois-Rivières, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Tractor-trailer truck driver. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
