Tempering plant tender

LCN inc. in Saint-Félix-de-Kingsey, QC is inviting applications for the position of Tempering plant tender. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Night shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must stack and band lumber.
• The candidate must start up, shut down, set up and adjust process equipment or machines.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.
• The candidate must build pallets.
• The candidate must maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• The candidate must conduct quality control.
• The candidate must assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, pallets and barrels.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be versatile.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
