CPR Cell Phone Repair St.Catherines in St. Catharines, ON is inviting applications for the position of Telecommunications equipment technician. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Weekend, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment.
• The candidate must repair cable signals.
• The candidate must diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
• The candidate must inspect operation of telecommunications equipment.
• The candidate must install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective telephone equipment.
• The candidate must test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults.
• The candidate must determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets.
• The candidate must install cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
• The candidate must repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
