Telecommunications equipment installer

RTelecom in 3154 Route 111 EAmos, QC is seeking a self-motivated Telecommunications equipment installer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Term or contractFull time employment. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
• The candidate must inspect operation of telecommunications equipment.
• The candidate must install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective telephone equipment.
• The candidate must climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
