Telecommunication line technician

Worldwide ( Winnipeg, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Telecommunication line technician. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Morning, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment.
• The candidate must test equipment to locate transmission faults.
• The candidate must install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment.
• The candidate must complete and maintain test and service reports.
• The candidate must climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
• The candidate must splice, join, and connect wires.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
