KD Engineering Co. is situated in Burnaby, BC and is hiring a Technologist, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must create user manuals.
• The candidate must repair and maintain machinery.
• The candidate must assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.
• The candidate must assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.
• The candidate must be knowledgeable in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• The candidate must prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must prepare standards and schedules.
• The candidate must supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants.
• The candidate must supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects.
• The candidate must test machines and equipment.

• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
