Sushi preparer

M&I SUSHI CRAFT ( Fenelon Falls, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Sushi preparer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Weekend, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.
