Supervisor, school bus drivers

Autobus Transco is situated in Pointe-Claire, QC and is hiring a Supervisor, school bus drivers to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recommend measures to improve work methods.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must resolve itinerary and other problems.
• The candidate must produce reports.
• The candidate must prepare, present, and manage budgets.
• The candidate must plan and manage budgets.
• The candidate must investigate workplace accidents or illnesses.
• The candidate must conduct interviews.
• The candidate must complete reports.
• The candidate must assist in the development of standards and health and safety measures.
• The candidate must manage incidents.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must demonstrate leadership.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a supervisory role to oversee teams, coordinate operations, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• The candidate must work in a transportation company to operate, coordinate, and manage transport services safely and efficiently.
• The candidate must work in a bus company to operate, manage, and coordinate bus services, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation.
