Aircraft upholsterer

Bombardier Aviation in Pointe-Claire, QC is inviting applications for the position of Aircraft upholsterer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must replace worn-out webbing, springs and other furniture parts.
• The candidate must lay out, cut, fabricate and install upholstery.
• The candidate must tack, glue or sew ornamental trim, braids or buttons.
• The candidate must operate sewing machines or sew by hand.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in aviation or aerospace manufacturing to assemble, inspect, and maintain aircraft or aerospace components, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
