Hermitage Processing Inc. Hermitage NL is situated in Hermitage, NL and is hiring a Supervisor, fish processing to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Morning, Evening, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in a fish plant, operating machinery to process, package, and ensure the quality of fish and seafood products.
