Supervising chef

Big Sky Camp Catering Ltd in Red Deer, AB is seeking a self-motivated Supervising chef. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Term or contractPart time leading to full time position. Required shifts: Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must create new recipes.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
• The candidate must supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.

• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
• The candidate must work in a camp to support operations, supervise activities, and ensure the safety and engagement of participants.
