Stucco plasterer

PROFOUND DRYWALL LTD ( Airdrie, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Stucco plasterer. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and prepare surfaces.
• The candidate must cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• The candidate must fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• The candidate must finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required.
• The candidate must mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.
• The candidate must spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
• The candidate must trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
