Fruit farm labourer

Avonmore Berry Farm ( Avonmore, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Fruit farm labourer. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
