Store clerk

Buck or Two Plus! ( Etobicoke, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Store clerk. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Casual employment - Part time employment. Required shifts: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts.
• The candidate must supervise staff, including apprentices, stagehands, and design teams.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a large department store that sells a wide range of products organized into distinct departments to satisfy nearly every customer's requirements under one roof.
