Steel stud framer - carpentry

KING CONSTRUCTION INC ( Niagara Falls, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Steel stud framer - carpentry. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be able to handle a large workload.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
