Ambico Limited in Gloucester, ON is inviting applications for the position of Spot welder. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• The candidate must set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines.
• The candidate must monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks.
• The candidate must measure and mark sheet metal according to templates.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
