Marine electrician

Revolution Yacht Experience Ltd ( Vancouver, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Marine electrician. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• The candidate must replace or repair electrical components as required.
• The candidate must test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices.
• The candidate must conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain maintenance records.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
